Fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, ear mites, and worms are parasites soon awakening to pounce on your pets. So, yes, it is time to get ready – along with all its beauty, Spring brings pet parasites. Warmer weather and more outside time and social activities give those parasites a great opportunity to jump onto and try to lodge on or in your best fur buds.
I wrote an updated article in March of 2023 on USA-made pet products to address the above issues entitled: “Flea & Tick Season – HElP!”. So click on and visit that article. Those companies are still very viable with great products for your pet, home, and your yard to address parasites.
Together with the six USA-made pet product companies in the above-mentioned article, you might also consider skin grooming products to help your best fur friends’ feel their best in an “itchy” time of year.

BurtsBeesPets.com of North Carolina has been providing natural skin products for many years.
And, Earthbath.com of San Francisco, California is another USA company with good skincare products.
One more is HealersPetCare.com of Vancouver, Washington – another good source for USA-made topical products.
An additional great firm is Vetericyn.com of Rialto, California with their USA-made skin and wound care products and more.
Last but definitely not least, is Zymox.com of Westmont, Illinois. They also provide good USA-made dog and cat skin products which you can see on their site.
Do check with your veterinarian for any needed heartworm or other needed worming meds. And think about conducting brushing sessions more often during this warmer time of year.
And do check out our post on Spring has Sprung!
The above information should give you plenty of great opportunities to make this Flea and Tick season a snap with your fur buddies.
Funny Animal Videos
First up from Big Geek Daddy is about a dog and a wild boar.
The wild boar is followed with paws and wheels?.
Last in line is on an arctic fox.
Thanks
