We all love our pets, and if you’re ready to share your furry friend’s unique charm with the rest of the world, Instagram is the place to be. Showing Fido or Fifi’s face in the best light can be a challenge, though. To help you get pics and clips that make your budding star shine.
Choose a theme for your content
Creating consistency when producing content can help make your images instantly recognizable.
Ensure your Instagram pics and other content are SEO-friendly by diving into easy to understand online resources.
Know your audience. Before you can set about creating themes and consistency, you’ll have to have a good grasp of your audience.
- Social media platforms like YouTube offer a range of user benefits that help you better understand who your content is connecting with, but you need to have a business account for most of them, so consider forming a limited liability company to get the ball rolling.
- Use a similar color scheme and similar filters to make your images more memorable. Choosing the right dimensions for your images is important, too, especially when it comes to Instagram.
- When it comes to engaging content, music can make all the difference. Search for royalty-free options to fit all your creative needs, from cute, energetic tunes to lovingly sweet ones to melodies that are heavy on drama.
Make do with what you have
Accessories can go a long way in making a picture come to life. Sometimes you may have to do with what you have. At other times using interesting props and accessories might just be able to do the trick.
- Look for some inspiration from what other people post. Pinterest could give you some great ideas on ways to channel your creative energy.
- If the background is not doing much for your image, then you could try a background remover tool to replace your background with an even better one.
- Too afraid to hit that publish button? Use Instagram’s preview tool to get a feel for what your final image is going to look like on Instagram.
- Dog parks are a great place to catch your furry friend having fun. Some apartment complexes even offer them these days, along with other fun amenities like grooming salons, walking trails, and so forth, so if you happen to be a renter in one of these fab complexes, take advantage of the perks!
- Another cool place to snag a photo op is a pet-friendly business, so look for cafés, bookstores, restaurants, bakeries and so forth to go exploring with your best buddy.
Don’t try to anticipate the next move
Pets behave in unexpected ways. That is why one of the best things you can do is not try to anticipate their next move, as you often simply can’t!
- Take with you the essentials to capture a good picture, i.e., your mobile or camera, their favorite toy, and a reward for when they are on their best behavior.
- Start off by enjoying the moment. Interact with your pet to ensure they are happy and active enough to pose for a picture.
- Choose your scenery. You may choose to take it outdoors if you want more of a natural shot. Or you can create a magical and playful set indoors if you want to inject some creativity into the photo shoot.
If you’re serious about capturing all those heart-melting moments with your pet and sharing them with the world, these tips and tricks can be a big help! Remember to be patient and keep your camera ready at all times, as the best shots often happen when you least expect them. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the special bond you share with your furry friend while creating lasting memories through your photos.
