All throughout the month of April our emphasis = X poor animal treatment! This is a special time to support our ASPCA organization. The American Society for the Prevention of Crueltry to Animals was founded clear back in 1866. This organization continues their fight against animal crueltry today with coordinated efforts through local shelters and clinics across North America. Way too much harm and neglect occurs throughout our country and the world on undeserving animals that have too little in the way of defense from puppy mills to farm animal abuse. If you see or hear of any such offense, please do report it to your local animal authorities.
Other Ways to Help
Adopting a shelter pet is a great way to give an animal a new life. Our designated ‘Adopt a Shelter Pet’ Day is coming up at the end of April. Start looking now. See my post on adoption questions and needs entitled: “Pet Adoption Questions“.
Volunteering at a local shelter is a rewarding experience and a loving act with grateful happy wags and meows from attention seeking animals.

Follow and subscribe to ASPCA for information on animal rights bills they are sponsoring or backing that can use your support.
Organize your own fundraising event on behalf of a local animal shelter or shelters.
Above all else, be kind to animals!
Animal Videos
From Big Geek Daddy’s library, see how to save a choking dog.
Next take a look at a man who has saved over 1,000 animals.
And, one more showing easy ways to make your dog happy.
